KenQuest LLC was founded by K'Andrea Bickerstaff in January 2005 in Austin, Texas.  KenQuest's extensive network of experts offers research, design, and management services in the areas of components, electronics, computing systems, enterprise servers, networked storage, and automotive technologies.  KenQuest provides patent and prior art analysis, portfolio valuation, reverse engineering services, claim chart development, and support for Inter Partes Review and litigation.

K'Andrea Bickerstaff, Ph.D.

K'Andrea is the Founder and President of KenQuest LLC.  Previously, K'Andrea was Director of Engineering for Components at Intellectual Ventures (IV).  K'Andrea also served as Director of Engineering for the Computing, Enterprise Servers, Networked Storage, and Automotive Programs during her almost 8 years at IV.  As Engineering Director at Luminary Micro, she co-architected and led the development of the start-up's first ARM-based SoC platform.  She managed teams or contributed to product designs at Cirrus Logic, Crystal Semiconductor, Intel Corporation, and Polaroid Corporation.  K'Andrea has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Scott McDonald

Scott is Sr. Vice President for KenQuest LLC.  For several years, Scott has provided consulting services for IP evaluation, business & project management and technical review in the fields of embedded & computing systems.  He served as the Sr. Vice President of Product Development & Operations for Open Labs for audio production and performance keyboards and was a Vice President at Cirrus Logic in the areas of Embedded Product Software & Marketing and Consumer Products. In addition, he was a Vice President of Crystal Semiconductor responsible for the Audio Division, Audio Business Development and System engineering. He began his career at IBM in the personal computer development organization.  Scott has a BSEE from the University of Texas at Austin.​
