KenQuest is looking for more experienced professionals to join the Network.

​

KenQuest consultants work on an "as requested" basis.  Job opportunities are determined by several factors including 1) matching a project's technical area with a consultant's expertise, 2) the client's deadline versus a consultant's availability, and 3) a project's size and scope.  Assignments may be very short (2-3 hours) or extend over several weeks.  Please review the information below regarding a consultant's responsibilities and qualifications.  If you are ready for the variety and challenges of consulting assignments, then email your resume or C.V. to jobs@kenquest-llc.com.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes patents, products, and/or technical publications

  • Produces or completes summary spreadsheets, slide presentations, or reports

  • Works at the direction of client's attorney or employee, if requested

  • Discusses assignment results with KenQuest project manager and/or client

  • Participates in webconferences and/or conference calls

  • Responds to emails and phone calls within 24 hours (during the work week)

  • Tracks time spent working on assignments

  • Submits complete invoices to KenQuest in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a scientific field

  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Conscientious about assignments and completes work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner

  • Requires minimal supervision to successfully complete tasks and assignments

  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with all level of employees and management

  • 10+ years of direct experience in product development and/or research for any of the following systems (or their subsystems) or technologies:

    • Components - digital, analog, mixed signal, microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, memories, power management, and IC packaging

    • Electronics - cameras, printers, TV/displays, wearables, drones, mobile phones, wireless communications

    • Computing - tablets and notebooks

    • Servers and Networked Storage

    • Automotive technologies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a technical field

  • Publications in industry journals or conference proceedings

  • Experience leading technical teams as a Manager, Director, or Executive

  • Experience in patent analysis or invention

  • Patent agent
